Shopping

South Beach is also known as the home of some of the world's best shopping. Whether you're just window shopping or looking for serious designer duds for clubbing with the beautiful people, the shopping in South Beach definitely has everything you need. Check out the Bal Harbour Shops on the north end of Collins Avenue; this family-owned and open-air upscale mall features designers such as Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, and many more. When you've racked up at Bal Harbour, head south on Collins and stop at The Webster South Beach, a sophisticated and unique shopping experience featuring an extensive selection of designer clothing and home goods.

South Florida Trikke

There's no better way to explore South Beach than up-close and personally, so head over to South Beach Trikke and rent a bike, Segway, or a set of roller blades. Check out historic Espanola Way Village built in 1925 and modeled after the gorgeous ancient Mediterranean villages of Spain and France. The village boasts also stunning Art Deco architecture, shopping, dining, and history. Be sure to visit the iconic Clay Hotel where Al Capone once chilled out Miami-style!

Miami Boat Tours

Nightlife

South Beach is even more wonderful at night when the neon lights bring the lovely Art Deco architecture to life, and the beautiful people are out in droves. Satisfy your hunger at one of the area's best restaurants, A Fish Called Avalon, and enjoy the intimate setting, creative cuisine, and artisanal cocktails with a Latin-Caribbean flair. If you're looking for something a bit more casual, Ocean's Ten (right on Ocean Drive) offers up a lively menu of pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and more.

Then get ready to shake your booty at Basement Miami, a favorite of South Beach locals. Nestled below the classy EDITION Miami Beach Hotel, Basement is a hidden gem and features a main room with a trendy club atmosphere and a more relaxed sidebar with a huge beer selection. Then move your squad right down the road to Foxhole, another local staple that's South Beach's first official speakeasy. The unassuming entrance in a side alley leads to a two-level bar with affordable libations, a dance floor, and pool tables if you're game.
