Calling All Makers!
Let's create music-making devices using everyday materials like pencils, marshmallows, fruits, Play-doh, and more. Sketch, code, and play a musical drawing that really sings. Design your own fun musical devices and games, tinkering with different materials and surprisingly conductive objects.
We'll make an interactive drawing that plays music when you touch it. Using a Makey Makey board and the Scratch programming environment, your little makers will explore and experiment with conductive and non-conductive materials and learn to code a simple computer program.
Ages 7+
Limited to 25 students

Is my registration/ticket transferrable or refundable?
Tickets are refundable up to 7 days before the event, and can be transfered anytime with 24 Hours notice. Simply email info@moonlighter.co with your ticket number and name, along with the contact information for the person you are transferring the ticket to.
Who will be leading this day camp?
A professional and knowledgeable creative staff with a passion for teaching. Daisy Nodal and Tom Pupo have a Masters in Architecture from Florida International University and have taught a range of creative classes using digital fabrication as a medium for innovation. Vicky Gonzalez has a BFA in Illustration from Ringing College of Art + Design. Children will work with each staff member to develop various technical and creative skills to be able to effectively express their ideas and create anything they can dream up!
Is lunch provided?
No, campers can bring their own lunches or parents may pay the additional $10 fee and they will be provided a healthy box meal from Subway which includes a 4" Sub of their choice, apples, and a juice.
Are there age restrictions?
This day camp is ideal for children 7+ however some exceptions may apply.
Does my child need to know anything before arriving? Do they need to bring any materials?
No prior skill is needed, the instructor(s) will help them create a one of a kind piece that the whole family will be proud of! All materials are included, just bring your eager young maker!
