We are doing a costal clean up on Julia Tuttle Causeway. Maybe if the fisherman see a clean environment they might start disposing of their trash properly. Join us!

DUE TO SAFETY THE MEETING POINT HAS CHANGED
Please park your vehicles on the street or the parking lot in front of the building "Blue On The Bay" on 36th street right before entering Julia Tuttle Causeway EAST BOUND.
After you park your car, please walk towards Julia Tuttle Cause way, on the right side of the road (bike lane) close to the guard rail and you will be able to find me in the first patch of grass you see to your right. I will be in front of a table with watercolors, waivers, and supplies!

The Julia Tuttle Causeway. WHAT A BEAUTY. She's part of most of our commutes home from work, and you can't deny that the views from that bridge BRINGS YOU LIFE!!
Unfortunately for us, our neighbors are getting a little too comfortable with the single use plastic consumption, and our beautiful land mark is looking like a pile trash..... no worries though, WE CAN CLEAN IT UP!
If you're interested in helping, come meet us at 8am May 19th. This is my first clean up, so any criticism is constructive!
What will be provided?
- Plenty of trash bags
- Gloves (hopefuly not enough!)
What you should bring?
- closed toes shoes or water shoes (it's swampy)
- work/dish washing gloves (I will provide some, but bring if you have.)
- Sunscreen (it's almost summer! dont get burnt)
- comfortable and protective clothes ^
- WATER!!!!! (avoid plastic water bottles, bring refillable.)
- SNACKS ( like protein bars and what not)
