Description
Ladies night at Kill Your Idol With Phay Bridges
Event Details
On November 20th Phay Bridges is gonna bring down her debut album song with Rachael Rage (keys, synth & Back vocals) and Maceo Morris (Lead Guitar, Bass, Drum and Loop Station-Machine).
Phay Bridges was born and raised in Lithuania and began a formal education in music at a very young age. She began bridging verses and choruses as soon as her father showed her a few chords on a guitar and Phay knew she discovered her calling - songwriting.
At the age of 20 she moved to New York City to study musical theatre and acting at the New York Film Academy. After learning that musical theatre might be just a bit too ‘jazz hands’ for her, she decided to focus on her first love, singing-songwriting.
She was often told by those who heard her tunes that she reminds them of female version of Jim Morrison, or that she sounds like Janis Joplin got herself a drum machine.
Her music and songwriting have a certain quality that reminds us of that past golden time while also incorporating modern elements from contemporary pop music similar to Lady Gaga and Bishop Briggs.
