A one-day event celebrates all aspects of Japanese culture. This year we are pleased to announce a collaboration with the Consulate General of Japan in Miami.
Event Details
They are presenting a runway Kimono Fashion Show by noted fashion designer, Kimono Hiro, seen in Vogue and at New York Fashion Week.
Activities throughout the day include:
Taiko drumming performances by Fushu Daiko
Ikebana floral design demonstration and Workshops
Origami lessons
Authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony
Children’s arts corner & storytelling
Anime-themed vendors
Japanese inspired face painting
Bento lunch boxes and snacks available for purchase
Kimono and Japanese inspired attire recommended for all
Free and open to public 10AM-5PM.
