The midnight fireworks are incomparable and the longest running around! The street is closed to traffic on Tuesday and Wednesday making it a wonderful pedestrian-friendly place for all ages. Stroll the mile of the Historic Art Deco District or take an Art Deco Walking Tour from the Welcome Center at 10th Street with a passionate guide that loves to share the history of each remarkable building’s architecture.
The Fireworks, presented by the Ocean Drive Association and the City of Miami Beach with support of the local businesses, are breathtaking. It is something to put down in the memory books and upload onto your social media as a place to see and be seen. People watching is the second-best reason to be here, you see everything from casual beachwear to gowns and tuxedos and watch for the celebrity sightings!
