Nu Deco at the Adrienne Arsht Center ft. St. Paul & The Broken Bones & Will Live

Nu Deco rounds out 2023 with a return to the renowned Adrienne Arsht Center! This program will include “Nu Nutcracker,” a rendition of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic with a Nu Deco twist, as well as a reimagination of the music of Tina Turner. During the first half of the program, we're thrilled to collaborate with American operatic baritone Will Liverman, described by NPR as 'a new, exciting voice in the opera world.” This show will also feature a special collaboration with Alabama-based, eight-piece soul band St. Paul & the Broken Bones.

Nu Deco Ensemble engages the Miami community in dynamic ways to serve and enrich all walks of our diverse culture and people. The orchestra inspires and engages over 10,000 children annually through their interactive Imagination Series and annually brings hundreds of community members from underserved communities to attend performances. In the Spring of 2020, Nu Deco Ensemble launched its youth ensemble which in addition to instruction in classical and popular musical styles, arranging, composition, and improvisation offers coaching in wellness, health, leadership, collaborative communication, interpersonal skills, and community stewardship.
