As part of its thrilling 25th Anniversary Season, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida is ready to bring back its holiday classic The Nutcracker, choreographed and staged by Artistic Director Vladimir Issaev to Tchaikovsky’s magical score.

Every year, Issaev’s The Nutcracker brings families together for the holiday season as it presents the company’s own professional dancers in the principal roles, as well as a community cast of children from Vladimir Issaev’s School of Classical Ballet and local character artists. The engaging choreography guarantees to entertain all ages, and it always serve as an introduction to ballet for young audiences with its colorful Christmas party, unimaginable scenery, cheeky mice, brave soldiers, glittery snow scene and a magical kingdom of sweets lead by the incomparable Sugarplum Fairy. The performances will start with on December 8 at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center, and culminate on December 18 at the Lillian S. Wells Theatre at The Parker in Fort Lauderdale
