Event Details
Christopher Street Liberation Day was on June 28, 1970 and marked the first anniversary of the Stonewall riots with an assembly on Christopher Street.
This gathering was the first ever Gay Pride March in U.S. history, covering the 51 blocks to Central Park.
June 30th from 12 - 2pm at YES Institute
Come and share your first pride story and bring any mementos from the early years of the fight after the Stonewall riots in 1969.
Lunch will be provided.
