FilmGate Miami proudly presents FilmGate Festival (Ex-NOLA). Our short film festival, which showcases the talent and creativity of local South Florida Talent, has a different theme every month. On this occasion, the theme will be Horror.
Event Details
The festival will exhibit short films with horror elements and themes. Those in other languages please provide subtitles in English.
Due to COVID-19, we have taken the necessary steps to move forward during these times and continue supporting our local talent. It is for that reason we've partnered with the online streaming platform, EVENTIVE, to make this an online event. We believe that this will help shorts reach an even wider audience.
We will still have introductions, welcoming everyone to our festival and presenting our jury. Then, we will move into our PERCOLATOR session where our Filmmakers will have 2 minutes to present their projects and themselves to our audience and jury.
After that, we will show all the shorts in succession to proceed with our Jury selection, our Audience award, and the Q&A.

-Introduction 6:30 PM
-Percolator 6:35 PM
-A showcase of short films 7:00 PM (depending on length)
-Jury feedback and selection 8:00 PM (depending on length)
-Audience selection 8:40 PM (depending on length)
-Winners acceptance 8:50 PM (depending on length)
-Q&A 9:15 PM (depending on length)
