Canvas Miami Gallery and Art Mouves are very pleased to announce the premiere exhibition of works by photographer Ivan Berrios and Plastic Artist Rich B Caliente, which will open to the public this Friday, November 8 and remain on view through Friday, November 15. The exhibition will feature original pieces from Rich B Caliente, and collaborative works with photographs taken by Ivan Berrios. Both Miami-based artist’s proposals provide different stories inspired by the city’s most vivid colors, culture, and flare. Making an homage to the city of Miami, giving it the name of #3ZEROFIVE.
The exhibition explores the progress of Rich’s most recent abstract works, a mesmerizing balance of wild color explosions refined with subtle polished symmetries. Presented in luxurious form through Miami’s ever growing Pop culture, many claim that Rich’s display of his most recent abstract works carries nuances that have earned him the reputation of this era’s Pollock with a modern aesthetic or as locals say, “the 3D Pollock”.
Ivan, a Miami Native, a photographer/video director, who embodies a later song by Dj Khaled “Born and Raised in the County of Dade” for more reasons than meets the eye. Ivan’s creative vision has placed him in the forefront of capturing incredible iconic moments by the likes of Jay z, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny - just to name a few. Ivan is best known for his quick rise in the industry and currently is the content creator for Dj Khaled and We The Best Music Group.
The collaborative pieces Berrios & Caliente produced for this exhibit, highlights the remarkable manifestation of two pioneers and visionaries who exemplifies Miami’s melting pot of culture. The collaborative pieces bring the best of Ivan’s keen vision of storytelling through photography, and Rich’s workings of the subconscious by spectacular imagery and clashing juxtaposition of subject matter.
