Wynwood is one of Miami's most happening districts these days, offering everything from vibrant street art to craft beer and one-of-a-kind eateries. Nothing showcases the eclectic energy of this cultural jewel more than the monthly Wynwood Art Walk

Located just a few blocks inland from fabulous Miami Beach, Wynwood is known for its many colorful murals painted by artists from all over the world. This neighborhood, formerly a manufacturing and warehouse district, now houses funky shops, hip bars and a brewery, and chic clothing boutiques. Wynwood is also home to the Art/Music/Food/Fashion Festival, a party celebrating Miami's best including live music, artists, fashion shows, and the Culinary Showcase, a battle royale of South Florida's best food trucks.

The Wynwood Art Walk takes place the second Saturday of every month and starts at the corner of NW 2nd Avenue and NW 22nd Lane. Be sure to also check out the amazing exhibitions at nearby White Dot Gallery, N'Namdi Contemporary, Gregg Shienbaum Fine Art, and Waltman Ortega Fine Art.

While you're already in Wynwood, pop into one of the neighborhood's hip bars and restaurants. The Hangar on NE 11th St is a cool live music venue where you can rock out while the SOS Bar at 2250 NW 2nd Avenue is a refreshing, outdoor watering hole offering affordable handcrafted cocktails, craft beer, and people watching.

If you're in the mood for fresh-pressed organic juice or an iced coffee concoction, Dr Smood's Organic Cafe, also on 2nd Avenue, has exactly what you need to recharge. Then El Patio Wynwood on NW 23rd Street is a unique concept that's perfect for Wynwood by fusing classy artisianal cocktails with Latin flair and artistic sensibilities.

If you miss out on this month's Wynwood Art Walk, you can still enjoy the sites, sounds, and flavors of the area with the Wynwood Walls and Street Art Tour. These private walking tours are available daily and are led by passionate local artists Ryan the Wheelbarrow and Pedro AMOS.

Looking for something a bit more relaxing, perhaps? Or something that requires less walking? The Wynwood Graffiti Golf Cart Tour allows you to chill on a cute, little golf cart while enjoying the beautiful murals and artsy atmosphere of Wynwood at a leisurely pace.
