Miami Dance Collective provides dance classes for beginning through advanced dancers Ages 3-18. These classes are designed for the dancer who is including the art of dance in his or her life for enjoyment. The program consists of developmental classes that include progressive instruction in technique, repertoire, flexibility & strength conditioning and performance skills. Students are moved through the levels based on their development, technical ability, mental preparedness and dedication, & maturity. Miami Dance Collective's “The Company” is a ballet-based program designed to provide a strong technical foundation while building individual artistry. This program is designed to fulfill the needs of serious dance students who seek opportunities that will eventually permit them to make the transition from a pre-professional to a professional dance career or University dance program. Company members will perform annually in their own concert held during the spring season and will attend several convention/competition events. Dancers will also be given the opportunity to train and work with guest choreographers.
