Tap 79 Gastropub & Craft Beer Bar set to open in Miami’s MIMO district, on 79th St east of Biscayne Blvd After 8 years of success in the Miami Arts District with bin 18, restaurateur and Chef Alfredo Patino, expands his epicurean gastronomy with elegant pub grub. Tap 79 will offer a robust craft beer selection with 8 beers on draft including Leffe, Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, Fat Tire and will offer an additional 22 beers by the bottle of mostly microbrews from USA and Belgium. The menu will range from small bites to entrees, with just enough variety to suit the dining needs for any occasion. Features on the menu include house cured beef jerky, crispy mango habanero wings, truffle mac & cheese topped with chicharron shavings, house made Tap 79 burger, short ribs served over creamy polenta and a fresh catch of the day. With a bar that seats up to 25 people, a private dining area and outdoor seating, the restaurant is fit for any dining occasion. The idea is to create a place for those who live in the area to grab a beer and bite to eat after work, or dine with a group of friends on a Saturday night.
