South Beach evolved into a bastion of culinary excellence thanks to the level of culinary talent drawn from across the globe to this tiny island. Few restaurants are a better example of this phenomenon than The Dutch. Located in the W South Beach, the Dutch is one of South Beach’s trendiest restaurants.

Part of what makes The Dutch unique is Executive Chef Andrew Carmellini. After conquering New York City’s culinary scene at Locanda Verde, Chef Carmellini made the move to Miami in 2012 with New York restaurateurs Josh Pickard and Luke Ostrom. Together they partnered up with locals Karim Masri and Nicola Siervo to open The Dutch on Miami Beach.

Carmellini adopts valuable lessons and adapts them to South Beach sensibilities at The Dutch creating dishes referred to as edible works of art. Despite what its name suggests, the restaurant offers modern American fare in a warm, relaxing atmosphere separating it from many of their local contemporaries.

Among The Dutch’s greatest attributes is that the restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and supper. Each of the menus is affordably priced and offers new spins on traditional American dishes. For instance, the breakfast menu boasts a scrumptious lobster Benedict meal and soft scrambled eggs with sausage Sofrito.

Luch will have you savoring treats from their extensive Oyster menu, or appetizers like a traditional Peruvian Corvina Ceviche with Rocotos chiles and celery, pizzas, pasta, or 'Seconds' like their delicious Korean fried chicken sandwich with peanuts and slaw.

And Supper offers stunning dishes like their roasted jerk seasoned pork on Coca-Cola rice with a heavenly pineapple chutney or you can choose a succulent bone-in Prime Ribeye for 2 with their signature spicy potatoes. A must have at both lunch and supper is their burger, the secret sauce...in a word, wow!

Be sure to leave room for where The Dutch truly soars to new heights is with their dessert menu. Sinfully delicious, be sure to try the Sweet Potato Doughnuts with Marshmallow Fluff and Cranberries. The menu changes with the seasons, trust us, you do not want to miss this experience!

It’s rare to find restaurants in South Beach with as much to offer as The Dutch. When Miami hip meets Big Apple certification, what you get is one of South Beach’s trendiest restaurants and an opportunity to dine on some of the best cuisines in the world. If you are looking to book a table for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's in Miami we recommend booking now.
