Halloween is fun for everyone, especially students ready to cut loose. We’ve gathered a few fantastic spots near the University of Miami where you can turn up and have some fun. Get ready to celebrate Halloween in Miami!

Halloween at The Biltmore

A luxurious Halloween party will be hosted at the Biltmore Oct. 28 in the Country Club Ballroom. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and don’t close until midnight. The night will include a buffet dinner, open bar and a costume contest hosted by a panel of celebrity judges. The categories for best costume this year are funniest, most creative (must be handmade), best group (maximum six people) and scariest. There is limited attendance, and tickets cannot be purchased at the door, so purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets are $275 until Oct. 27th.  There will also be a limited about of discounted rooms held for this event, for more information or to reserve a room, call (305) 913-3230.

It’s back! If you like bar crawls, this event has been a huge success for three years and will be invading Wynwood again on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. The alternative bars and colorful sidewalks make Wynwood one of the most popular places to chill out in the general Miami area. Don’t miss out on this red-and-white striped night visiting some of the best bars in Wynwood. Where’s Waldo and Wenda costumes are mandatory.

Haunted Mansion Party

The Coral Gables Women’s Club is hosting their annual Halloween Haunted Mansion Party on Oct. 29 from 7:30-11:30 p.m. there will be toxic treats, poisonous eat and creepy peeps, and be sure to wear your costume for the contest! There will also be a cash bar, raffle, and prizes. Tickets are $60 in advance and proceeds from the event will support their children’s dental clinic.

Wynwood has carved out a place for itself as one of Miami’s hippest locations. So, it’s no surprise they’d put together an event to take the streets of Wynwood by storm. Aptly named “HalloWYN,” this block party is the perfect mash-up for your inner child and the adult that can’t get enough of Wynwood. HalloWyn invites Miami’s most creative and scariest costumed locals to take part in the festivities on Oct. 31st. There will be 20 food trucks offering tasty bites, so you can jam into the night. Hosted by Mana Wynwood, this event is free and promises to be the spookiest event of the season.
