Thanksgiving is about family, food, and football. But what is there is to do once your relatives are getting ready for bed, the leftovers are chilling, and the final whistle has been blown? Most people think there isn’t much. Especially since the day before Thanksgiving is renowned as the biggest party night of the year. Here in this city bars and nightclubs are open on Thanksgiving in Miami, and we’re going to help you find the best destinations to get your holiday started!

E11EVEN MIAMI

This one is hardly a surprise. As the city’s only 24-hour bar, E11EVEN MIAMI may actually one-up the U.S. Post Office. While carriers deliver our mail no matter rain, snow, sleet, gloom or heat, there is no delivery on national holidays, that doesn’t stop Miami’s best after-hours bar from delivering the partying and excess Miami natives crave. The night before Thanksgiving, GASHI will perform, while on Thanksgiving night, there will be performances by Pisano and admission is $20.

If E11even is open, it’s only natural its chic restaurant and lounge would be as well. As downtown Miami’s only open-air lounge, this South Beach-inspired joint is giving us what we want.  Fresh air, unobstructed views, good tunes, and crisp drinks are waiting! Nov. 27 and Thanksgiving will also be a part of the club's Rooftop Wednesdays and Thursdays where guests can book reservations to dine on the roof.

This nautical cocktail bar will be offering an After-Thanksgiving Party on Nov. 27 starting at 10 pm with music by AFROBETA. In celebration of the holiday, there will be no cover charge!

On Nov. 27, this bar will be offering a Words and Wine Open Mic night, featuring Janna Pelle, where patrons can sign up starting at 8:30 pm to participate. There will also be an open Drum Jam on the patio. On Thanksgiving, starting at 9 pm and there will be performances Tryptophan Plan featuring Afrobeta, Twyn and Galactic Effect.

For the 22nd year, Bougie's Bar will be hosting its Annual Thanksgiving Eve Block Party. They will be closed on Thanksgiving day but will be open on Friday, Nov. 29.

This live music venue will be open on Thanksgiving and will host the Wynwood Strings Band, a folk-bluegrass group on the holiday and will host The French Horn Collective on Nov. 27 and Bobby Lee Rodgers on Nov. 23.

Although it is closed on Thanksgiving, Ball & Chain will host a Thanksgiving Eve Bash on Nov. 27 with Locos Por Juana. With no cover. DJ set by Danny Stern. 21+ Only
