SWWIM x Womanish Poetry Reading Cocktail Party

SWWIM (Supporting Women Writers in Miami) is partnering with Womanish, an interactive pop-up exhibit curated by womxn for womxn, to host a poetry reading cocktail event on Wednesday, October 20th at 6:30 p.m. This ekphrastic poetry project demonstrates the writings of six poets from SWWIM coming into Womanish to write about each activation and what inspired them, bringing awareness to important issues affecting womxn. All rooms have a QR code posted so that guests can read the poem associated with each room. There will be live poetry readings and cocktails from Mixology Mixer to kick off this partnership to promote and celebrate women writers, trans and cis women, nonbinary, intersex and other gender-expansive communities.
