The PGA TOUR Latinoamérica is a professional Tour that was created in 2012 by the PGA TOUR in collaboration with promoters, clubs and national golf federations of the Latin American region.
Event Details
The inaugural season included 11 tournaments in seven countries and has since grown to include 18 official tournaments in 13 countries in 2017. The countries that the Tour currently visits are Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala , Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Dominican Republic and Uruguay. The No. 1 of the Order of Merit at the end of each season is recognized with the Roberto De Vicenzo Award and wins completely free status on the Web.com Tour, the next step on the road to the PGA TOUR. The other nine players in the top-10 of the earnings list also get status for the next season of the Web.com Tour.
