In October of 2010, The Rooftop on Sixth was launched in the heart of 6th Street in Austin, located at 6th and Trinity (right above The Aquarium). True to the Rooftop concept, the bar boasts a large, open-air deck that overlooks 6th Street. Inside you will find East 6th Street's newest and hottest night spot. The spacious design features multiple flat-screen TV's, booths for lounging or dancing, full-size photo booth, and live DJ's.

Every time I'm in Austin I make sure to swing by The Rooftop on 6th. Great drinks, great service and one of the best views around.
Rooftop is one of my favorite bars in Austin! It is my go to bar on 6th street. Great staff, drinks, crowd and entertainment.
Pros: Best crowd for bars on East Sixth Street. Big bar for getting drinks faster.
Cons: Going up the stairs when the bar is crowded but well worth it!
