Sunday April 28, 4-7 PM: Global Arts Project & The Collins Park Neighborhood Association present the Artscape Concert Series, featuring the renowned vocalist Nicole Henry celebrating International Jazz Day.
Nicole Henry is one of the jazz world's most acclaimed vocalists, possessing a potent combination of dynamic vocal abilities, impeccable phrasing, and powerful emotional resonance.
Her passionate, soulful voice and heartfelt charisma has earned her a Soul Train Award for “Best Traditional Jazz Performance," and three Top-10 U.S. Billboard and HMV Japan jazz albums. Heralded by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Japan Times, El Pais, Jazz Times, Essence and more, Ms. Henry tells real stories through unparalleled interpretations of repertoire from the American Songbook, classic and contemporary jazz, popular standards, blues and originals.

Collins Park is located at 2100 Collins Ave., Miami Beach, next to the Bass Museum. The show will open with a set by students of Dr. Ed Calle. Food service will be available on-site. Note it is also the Bass Museum's Family Day, 10AM - 5PM.
