It's time for Soul Basel in Miami and we are turning it up at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater for our 40th Anniversary!

This year BAHLT takes the celebration to another level--If you were able to join us last year for our Presidential exhibit and Dru Hill performance under the stars in Historic Overtown, then this year will blow your mind.

Starting with our host and emcee, the #1 comedian and radio personality, Rickey Smiley, who will party with us for an unforgettable Funk, Art & Soul 3-day celebration featuring the the sounds of the SOS Band, Dougie Fresh, and the Sugar Hill Gang, Black Archives Honors Award Ceremony, and the unveiling of our new exhibition "Funky Turns 40: Black Character Revolution" showcasing cartoons and animated images with African-American casts from the 70s. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 includes entry into Black Archives Honors Award event hosted by Rickey Smiley with the S0S Band performing live in concert plus. Entry into the opening of the Funky Turns 40 exhibit, complimentary valet and red carpet service, open bar with pass hors d'oeuvres, eating stations, cigar lounge, and much, much, more all part of the ticket price.

Thursday, December 7, 2017 includes host Rickey Smiley, Doug E. Fresh, and Sugar Hill and the Gang performing live in concert. Entry into the Funky Turns 40 Art Exhibit, art and food vendors, cash bars, cigar lounge and an unforgettable Soul Basel experience under the stars.

Friday, December 8, 2017 is the Art of Conversation hosted by Chairman Keon Hardemon produced by Headliner Market Group.

Saturday, December 9, 2017 includes Entry into the Funky Turns 40 Art Exhibit, art and food vendors, cash bars, cigar lounge and an unforgettable Soul Basel experience under the stars.
