Exhibits include Margarette Joyner’s costumes merging African textiles with 19th-century portraiture, Imani Warren’s Black Beauty as an Act of Resistance honoring African-descended women's beauty rituals and the Sunlight School of Beauty Culture, and A.J. Brown’s Double Exposure, blending music and vibrant visual art.
