Join Foot Locker and rapper Rick Ross this Sunday, August 14th at Betty T. Ferguson Park for a “Ready Up” back-to-school event. From 12:00 – 4:00 pm EST, there will be backpacks and back-to-school supplies available for the community, while supplies last. The event is held in partnership with Vice Mayor Reggie Leon and will focus on providing school necessities for the community. There will be 300 free backpacks with school supplies, free sneakers from Converse, haircuts, hair braiding and on-site customization moments available. In order to receive a backpack, children must be 15 years old or younger, but other supplies are available for students of all ages.
