Description
A game-inspired sonic journey through the immigrant experience.
Event Details
Miami-based musician and avant-garde composer Juraj Kojš premieres his latest work entitled Where Home Is, a dynamic music and multimedia navigational experience through a fictive territory that spans several levels of the MDC Wolfson Parking Garage in downtown Miami.
Inspired by migrants and immigrants, Kojš imagines a country in which participants traverse through physical and conceptual pathways to find their Where Home Is citizenship. Kojš masterfully combines original music for voices, instruments, and technologies with movement and visuals in this dynamic multidisciplinary performance work.
