Communities in Schools of Miami (CIS of Miami) will host its 31st annual fundraising event, “Heroes & Sheroes,” presented by Publix Super Markets Charities, on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Beginning at 5 p.m., guests of CIS of Miami will encounter a family-friendly atmosphere complete with delicious food, lively student performances, touching testimonials and a highly anticipated silent auction at the Intercontinental at Doral Miami.
CIS of Miami provides educational programs and services that help more than 6,500 South Florida students each year succeed in and out of school. This annual fundraiser commemorates the organization’s dedication to empowering students to stay in school through mentoring, tutoring, development skills, community resources and more. Event sponsors include Publix Super Markets, City National Bank, Wawa, and Kaufman & Rossin.
Advanced tickets for the annual philanthropic event are $75 for adults and $30 for children under 12. Proceeds directly benefit CIS of Miami.
