Celebrating 1 Million Cups Miami One Year Anniversary

o honor all the incredible ideas shared, connections made, and trust built in the past year, we are hosting a special edition of #1MCMiami on November 20th. Instead of our regular format, this interactive session will dare our community to live, share, support, and act boldly, both in their entrepreneurial ventures and in their lives.

We will be featuring some of our past presenters at tables throughout the Idea Center, so you can check in and see what they’ve achieved since their presentation. We’ll also have some delicious surprises from local food and drink vendors, and we'll be raffling off some great prizes from supporters of our local entrepreneurship community.

Agenda

8:30 A.M - 9:00 A.M: Enjoy networking time with other attendees and past presenters, of course with coffee, tea, and sweet bites.

9:00 A.M - 10:00 A.M: Join us in an engaging session in which we will explore themes of connection, vulnerability, and overcoming challenges through interactive activities. We’ll dive into what we want success, failure, and support to look like for our community.

10:00 A.M - 10:30 A.M: Continue networking with your new friends, connections, and the past 1MC presenters — and of course, take a second helping of coffee & snacks!

About #1MCMiami

Based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and engage with their communities over a million cups of coffee, the Kauffman Foundation developed 1 Million Cups: a free program designed to educate, engage and inspire entrepreneurs around the country. Here in Miami, the event takes place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. At each event, two entrepreneurs present their early-stage ventures to the community and receive valuable feedback on their business model, presentation, and current challenges. Each event is centered upon the values of community, connection, and support, making it a valuable experience for presenters and audience members alike.
