Join Ronnie Hurwitz of the Miami Trust for Historic Preservation and Pay Tribute to the Dozens of Killed in Action Hometown Soldiers and One Merchant Marine whose Ship "The James Sprunt” was Sunk off the Coast of Cuba in 1943.

Event Details

Learn the story of John Little 1st recognized Memorial Day.
Soldiers from WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam Wars.
Many of these young men attended Miami High School, Miami Edison High School, Miami Beach High School, Booker T. Washington High School, Ponce De Leon High School (now Coral Gables Senior High School) Hialeah High School and Shenandoah. We will also Honor the 6 Police Officers and 2 Firefighters Killed on their Watch.

There will be Two FREE Tours held on Monday 28th, 2018

1st Tour Starts at 9:00 A.M.

2nd Tour starts at 10:30 A.M.

We recommend you bring sneakers, sunscreen, a hat, and water for hydration.
