Convocatoria Premio Paz de Poesía 2018

La Feria del Libro de Miami del Miami Dade College, en colaboración con The National Poetry Seires, convoca al Premio Paz de Poesía 2018, un premio de $2,000 en efectivo y la edición bilingüe del poemario por la prestigiosa editorial independiente Akashic Press. El poemario ganador será seleccionado por el prestigioso poeta Rigoberto González.
El Premio Paz de Poesía se otorgará cada dos años para la publicación de un poemario inédito escrito originalmente en español por un(a) autor(a) residente en los Estados Unidos. Sólo se aceptarán manuscritos de poesía con extensión de libro redactados en español. Las traducciones, obras de crítica literaria y textos académicos no serán elegibles.
El Premio Paz será administrado por The National Poetry Series. El período de recepción de manuscritos de la edición 2018 son del 1ro de mayo hasta el 15 de junio (incluido). Manuscritos serán recibidos únicamente por medio de este link: https://nationalpoetryseries.org/apply/#nps-paz

CALL FOR SUBMISSION TO THE PAZ POETRY PRIZE 2018:
Miami Book Fair will award one $2,000 prize every other year (in even years) for the publication of a previously unpublished book of poetry originally written in Spanish by an American resident. The prize will recognize book-length manuscripts of poetry written in Spanish. Translations, works of literary criticism and scholarly texts do not qualify.
The winner will be selected by an esteemed poet Rigoberto González. The chosen book will be translated into English by an experienced translator, and will be published in a bilingual edition by the prestigious independent publisher Akashic Press.
The entry period for the 2018 Open Competition begins on May 1, 2018 and runs through (and including) June 15, 2018. Manuscripts will only be received by online submission in this link: https://nationalpoetryseries.org/apply/#nps-paz
