The Elderly Affairs Committee (EAC) was created to assist the Town with identifying the needs of the elderly residents in Miami Lakes. The Committee focuses on the development of programs serving the elderly, such as forums, social events, excursions, and more. The Elderly Affairs Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 8:30 am at Miami Lakes Town Hall located at 6601 Main Street in Room 106.

The 2018 Town of Miami Lakes Health & Fitness Fair brought over 500 attendees to the completely sold out Health & Fitness Fair. More than 60 local businesses educated attendees on preventive healthcare, sound health practices, and local access to these services. This event will be held both indoors and outdoors. We invite health and fitness related agencies, organizations, businesses, and providers to have an exhibit, distribute literature, provide health screenings, and acquaint the public with your services.
