FIU launched the Veterans Day Celebration Breakfast in 2016 to honor the student veterans and military-affiliated students on campus as well as the 52,000 in the local community.
Since its inception, keynote speakers have included nationally recognized veteran leaders, such as Lt. Colonel Justin Constantine, U.S. Marine Corps (ret.); Rodney Bullard, U.S.
Air Force/JAG (ret.) and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Chick-fil-A; Zack Bazzi, U.S. Army Veteran and Middle East Regional Director for Spirit of America; and FIU student veteran leaders Keishla Santiago, Henry Antenor and more.
