Here we go again, folks......It's Novemeber which means it's time to get your monthly Throttle fixx. This month is going to be one of the HOTTEST parties to date. Essential Breaks is touring through Richmond to bring some of the SICKEST breaks and house beats to your ears. Keith MacKenzie, from Chicago, is one of the freshest breaks djs out there and he will be BRINGIN" dat funk for your listening pleasure. Dj Fixx, hailing from Buffalo, NY, is a legend in the breakbeat scene and will be making the dancefloor rumble. Together...they are KMFX and their tag-team session SHOULD NOT BE MISSED!!!
Joining KMFX on the Essential Breaks tour are the local celebraties of Proxxy & Lantern, who rip it up on a regular and Section 8 (Ken Lazee & Matt Sanborn) who will surely get your asses on the dancefloor.
Don't think I forgot about all of you faithful drum 'n' bass headz, either. I'm bringing the one and only KLUTE to your doorstep, all the way from the UK. Klute, founder of Commercial Suicide Records and a member of the notorious Metalheadz crew, has been one of the most respected and influential drum 'n' bass djs out there. You surely won't want to miss his electrifying set as he makes this extremely rare stop through Richmond.
There will also be a very special LIVE PERFORMANCE in the drum 'n' bass room by Dj Xphouriah. Complete with a 909, a laptop, turntables and a mixer...Xphouriah will blow you away while he makes unbelievable d 'n' b tracks and beats right before your eyes! Be a witness to this amazing performance....you won't be disappointed!
Essential Throttle will be held at Element, the hottest spot Richmond has to offer. For all of you who haven't experienced the Element vibe....now is your opportunity to indulge in what this club has to offer.
There will be four booths available for reservation in the front room that includes discounted tickets, bottle service, full stock of mixers and ice, a personal and attentive server as well as private accessibility for you and your group. Three booths seat 6 people each and one booth seats 12. PM me for more info, reservations and pricing.
This event will open early at 9pm and close at 4am. It is 18 & up, as always.
