Let's take a moment and dedicate some time and forum space to discusing how our actions have direct effects on the human rights, environment and overall welfare of human beings and our planet. I'm suggesting this as a forum topic in and of itself, but also adding this event announcement for your information. Event Announcement: In a world where our actions on one side of the globe often have a direct result in the lives, well-being, and the environment on the other side of the planet we share, we wish to acknowledge our responsibility as Americans to consciously participate in creating the world in which we wish for our grandchildren to be blessed to live. We, the Memnosyne Foundation, can think of no better way to honor the lives of those from over the 14 different countries and 47 states who perished in 9-11. We invite you to join us and leaders from aroudn the country, in a conference focusing on what we can do to help others by: Investing For a Sustainable World: Aligning Investments with Values on September 11, 2008 8:30am-4:30pm Cityplace Conference Center 2711 Haskell Avenue at north Central Expressway Dallas, TX 75204 For its not enough that we offer philanthropic help, it is necessary as citizens of the world to seek to alighn our actions towards makign a difference in the world we share. this conference brings together a "Who's Who" of Sustainable Investing to Dallas, and will offer the most comprehensive coverage of the subject ever available in Texas!
