It's back!  Red Bull's yearly celebration of human flight and makeshift ingenuity, Flugtag, will return to Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami on Saturday, September 21.

This massive event has taken place all throughout the world with dozens of selected teams gathering in each city to see just how far their home-crafted, human-powered flight machines can fly in this serious-but-not-so-serious competition.

2013 Red Bull Flugtag will return to Miami on Satuday, September 21 beginning at 2 p.m. for a full day of human flight as local teams gather to see how far they can get their machines off a 30 or so foot-high platform over the waters of Biscayne Bay.

Much like the event held in Tampa two years ago, Flugtag is returning to this waterfront city and embracing its melting pot of cultures with a diverse array of teams from Florida and beyond.

Head out to cheer for teams including Snoopy and The Red Bull Baron (Ft. Lauderdale), More Than Wings (Cumming, GA), Plight of the Phoenix (Orlando, FL) and more.

Best of all, Flugtag 2013 is completely FREE to attend with everyone of all ages welcome.

We'll keep you posted with more information as Flugtag in Miami nears.  For now, check out the Red Bull Flugtag Miami Facebook page for more information.
